This vase was wheel thrown and finished with hand-built details that mimic the movement of Atlantic waves and the textures of coral reef species. Its sculptural form echoes the rhythms of the ocean, capturing the dynamic interplay between sea life and coastal waters.
Though clay transforms into something enduring once fired, its malleability and ability to record every touch, shift, and pressure mirrors the sensitivity of marine life to environmental change.
