Candlelight Workshop - October 9

Join us for an evening of candlelight and clay! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to hand-build your own ceramic candle holder(s) while exploring different shapes, textures, and details. Create something simple and functional like a candle warmer, or get creative with a more sculptural design to bring a warm, handmade touch to your home. This event takes place Friday, October 9, at Almonak from 7-9pm.

Each event is thoughtfully styled with unique floral tablescapes and candlelights, creating a warm & inspiring atmosphere.

After the workshop, you’re welcome to stay to enjoy music, mingle, and continue connecting with the space and each other.

Ticket includes:

• Large amount of clay to create your candle holder(s)
• One drink (Cocktail, Wine, Cider, Mocktail, or non-alcoholic beverage)
• All materials including clay, glazes, tools, and kiln firing
• Step-by-step guidance on hand-building techniques and 1:1 guidance

Food will be available for purchase from Almonak. Menu subject to change. Please let Micaila know if you have any dietary restrictions if you are interested in having a snack during the workshop!

Terms & Conditions

𖦹 This is a 19+ event.

𖦹 If you're unable to attend, please let Micaila know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows time to adjust, as clay and materials are purchased and prepared ahead of each workshop.

𖦹 No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event or for no-shows, as each spot and set of materials are reserved in advance. If you provide at least 48 hours' notice, you're welcome to transfer your registration to a future workshop (subject to availability) or transfer your ticket to a friend.

𖦹 Finished ceramic pieces require drying, glazing, and 2 kiln firings. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks before pieces are ready for pickup. You'll be contacted once they're ready for pickup.

𖦹 While every effort is made to ensure successful firings, ceramics can occasionally crack, warp, or break during the drying or firing process. Although this is uncommon, it is an inherent risk of working with clay, and Micaila cannot guarantee every piece will survive the kiln. You are welcome to have another ball of clay to try again, in the small chance this does happen!

𖦹 By attending the workshop, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let Micaila know when you arrive.
