Sculptural Workshop - August 18

In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of coil building to create your own sculptural ceramic piece. We'll cover how to build strong forms, add hand-sculpted details, and experiment with texture and shape to bring your ideas to life. If you're interested in creating something abstract, inspired by nature, or completely your own, you'll have the freedom to explore and create during this workshop! This workshop will run from 6:30-9:30pm on Tuesday, August 18. 

Each event is thoughtfully styled with unique floral tablescapes offering a warm & inspiring atmosphere to create in.

After the workshop, you’re welcome to stay to enjoy music, mingle, and continue connecting with the space and each other.

Ticket includes:

• Large amount of clay to create an expressive sculptural piece(s)

• One drink (Wine, Cider, Mocktail, or non-alcoholic beverage)

• All materials including clay, glazes, tools, and kiln firing

• Step-by-step guidance on sculptural techniques

𖦹 This is a 19+ event.

𖦹 If you're unable to attend, please let Micaila know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows time to adjust, as clay and materials are purchased and prepared ahead of each workshop.

𖦹 No refunds are available for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event or for no-shows, as each spot and set of materials are reserved in advance. If you provide at least 48 hours' notice, you're welcome to transfer your registration to a future workshop (subject to availability) or transfer your ticket to a friend.

𖦹 Finished ceramic pieces require drying, glazing, and 2 kiln firings. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks before pieces are ready for pickup. You'll be contacted once they're ready for pickup.

𖦹 While every effort is made to ensure successful firings, ceramics can occasionally crack, warp, or break during the drying or firing process. Although this is uncommon, it is an inherent risk of working with clay, and Micaila cannot guarantee every piece will survive the kiln. You are welcome to have another ball of clay to try again, in the chance this does happen!

𖦹 By attending the workshop, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let Micaila know when you arrive.
